Effective April 22, 2010, the EPA requires certification of all painting contractors working in housing built prior to 1978.
The new rules are titled the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule and the HUD Lead Safe Housing Rule. Under the rules, a contractor who is working in residential, public or commercial buildings where children under the age of 6 are present on a regular basis is required to have completed the approved certification.
The rules state that anyone doing any renovation, repair, painting that disturbs 6 square feet of interior surface or 20 square feet on the exterior has to complete an approved certification course by April 22, 2010.
The certification process involves a one-day course administered by an accredited instructor and application to the EPA for company certification.
The certification course is an eight-hour class that covers the lead-safe work practices required by the EPA as well as all of the record keeping necessary under the new rules. The certification is required to be updated every five years.

Yes. Our standard warranty for one coat acrylic paint application is (3) Years on Wood Surfaces and (5) Years on Stucco Surfaces. Extended warranties are offered for multiple coatings, Elastomeric coatings and Ceramic coating applications.
